Lest We Forget

Hubs and I just got back from attending the local Remembrance Day ceremonies - we always try to make it because...well, it's the least we can do to pay our respects to those that fought for us so we have the freedom we have today.  I always get choked up when the veterans parade past us and people are all clapping for them.  And...sadly, I always notice that the number of veterans gets smaller and smaller every year.  The one good thing that I noticed though is the number of teens who were there...there was this group of five young guys, who took the time to come down and pay their respects and just didn't treat today as a day off school.  Cool.
