We've all heard of the bucket list, right? I was nonchalantly perusing some blogs today (OK, OK...I was poring through them like a crazy woman - I'm totally addicted to all things bloggie) and saw that Kathryn over at Eat, Play, Namaste had done a "32 things to do before I turn 32" list. Kewl! I'd started a bucket list a few years ago of 101 things to do before I died, but never quite finished it. I like what Kathryn did so this is going to be my offiical "50 things to do before I turn 50" list! So here goes, in no particular order:
- Complete a marathon
- Tour all throughout China
- Learn to swim
- See the Pyramids of Egypt
- Own a dog
- Own a cat (this might be difficult since Hubs is deathly allergic)
- Get a tattoo (something running related WHEN I run my first marathon)
- Take professional cooking lessons - I want to be an amazing cook one day
- Qualify for Boston
- Run through Central Park in New York
- Learn to play the piano
- Travel the world on a food tour a la Anthony Bourdain
- Own my own business doing something I absolutely love (food/health/running related!)
- Plant a veggie garden
- Learn how to preserve/can foods
- Eat pho in Vietnam
- Run the New York Marathon
- Volunteer for a food-related cause i.e. food bank, working in a soup kitchen, etc.
- Own a piece of John Lennon's art
- Learn to walk in stillettos
- Own a pair of Manolos
- Do a triathlon (must do item #3 first though - heh)
- Try hot yoga
- Do a proper cartwheel - I could never do these when I was a kid
- Learn how to skate
- Become a full time blogger
- Learn how to make flaky pastry
- See the Northern Lights
- Go on a crazy girl's trip to Vegas
- Do one hundred pushups in a row
- Volunter helping seniors
- Read 20 classic books
- Do the flexed arm hang for 30 seconds - anyone remember this from school? I'm still traumatized because I couldn't do it at all!
- Bake bread from scratch
- Work for Lululemon
- Have laser eye surgery to improve my vision
- Cook my way through a classic cookbook a la Julie and Julia
- Go organic
- Become garbage free - recycle or compost everything
- Do ten chinups in a row
- Fill a room with wall to wall cookbooks
- Walk the Great Wall of China
- Create a vision board
- Learn more about yoga i.e. spiritual side
- Meet Prince Harry (yes...I have an inappropriate crush on him...I have a thing for redheads!)
- See the Dalai Lama
- Take up Tai Chi
- Go on a cruise
- Watch a Formula One race live
- Get into awesome physical shape

Nice list! They all seem pretty attainable...except maybe Prince Harry. If you swing it though, can I come too? LOL
Awesome list! You have inspired me to create my own list. I keep starting and then getting confused as to what I really want on it.
Great list!!!
Thanks for the shout out Cindy! Your bucket list sounds awesome (I'm super jealous of all the travel!)
